2. Using the website
You may use the website for your own information and for considering whether to use our services. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time without notice, and we don't guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors.
3. Information only
The content on the website, including our guides and research, is general information. It is not legal, regulatory, financial or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such. Take advice suited to your own circumstances before acting on it. Although we try to keep content accurate and up to date, we make no promise that it is complete, accurate or current.
4. No guarantee about AI tools
AI search tools such as Google AI Mode, AI Overviews and ChatGPT are run by third parties, and their answers change over time and between users. Nothing on the website is a promise or guarantee that any AI tool will name, recommend or describe any business in a particular way, or that any ranking, traffic or sales result will follow.
5. Free AI snapshot
We provide free AI snapshots at our discretion. Capacity is limited, so we may decline or delay a request without giving a reason. A snapshot is a short, point-in-time look at a small number of AI answers. It is provided for information only, without charge and without any warranty, and should not be relied on as a complete assessment of your business. Requesting a snapshot does not create any obligation on you or on us.
6. Intellectual property
We, or our licensors, own the intellectual property rights in the website and its content, including text, images, video, design and code. You may view, print and share pages for your own non-commercial reference, provided you keep our name and a link to the source. You must not copy, adapt or republish our content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Names and marks of third parties belong to their owners.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the website in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system; introduce viruses or other harmful material; use automated means to scrape or copy the website in bulk; or send us content through our forms that is unlawful, abusive or that you don't have the right to share.
8. Links to other websites
The website links to third-party websites, such as platform documentation and sources for our guides. We have no control over those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
Subject to that, we are not liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or your reliance on any of its content. In particular, we are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation, or any indirect or consequential loss.
